Phoebe Philo fans rejoice! The designer has been appointed the new creative director of luxury French fashion house, Celine. The British coutourier, who was credited for turning Chloe into a profitable label prior to her resignation in 2006, will be unveiling her first collection during Paris Fashion Week in February 2009. Celine hasn't seen a high-profile designer since the days of Michael Kors over four years ago, so this will be one hotly anticipated collection. If Philo was able to make the Peter Pan collar cool at Chloe, we can't wait to see what she's got up her sleeve this time. Watch this space.
